Amina is our new ward resident from Magnitogorsk. She is 2.5 years old. She still cannot stand on her own and lives with a tracheostomy after two heart surgeries.<\/p>\n
Amin is currently undergoing a hydrocephalus examination, but the family is short of \u20ac7,100 to pay for it. Amin was born with a heart defect, hydrocephalus, and congenital pneumonia. She could not breathe on her own \u2014 she spent the first few days of her life on a ventilator. After two heart surgeries, she was fitted with a tracheostomy tube, with which she has been living ever since.<\/p>\n
Mom regularly takes her daughter for checkups and is looking for a way to help the girl start breathing on her own. With hydrocephalus, the situation is also not easy: in Russia, the family has not yet been able to conduct the necessary tests because of Amina\u2019s age and the difficulties associated with administering anesthesia.<\/p>\n
The girl will be able to receive help at the Schneider Clinic in Israel. The doctors are ready to conduct all necessary tests and assess the girl's condition.<\/p>\n
On October 6, Amina\u2019s examination for tracheostoma begins. The parents have raised the funds for it themselves, but there is no money to pay for the hydrocephalus diagnosis.<\/p>\n
The trip is already planned, and it is now especially important to collect the 7,100 \u20ac in time so that Amina can undergo both examinations while she is still at the clinic.<\/p>\n
