Vanya loved going to kindergarten very much. At the age of 5, he could already read and preferred books about human structure: he could tell what leukocytes were and what a cell consisted of. He said he would become a doctor. But in August 2013, the boy's life was divided into \u00abbefore\u00bb and \u00abafter\u00bb.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

His parents began to notice that Vanya was stumbling frequently, his gait was unsteady and he was weak - he constantly asked to lie down. Natalia, the boy's mother, was alarmed by this, so she went to a neurologist. An MRI scan was ordered. In the evening of the same day, Vanya was diagnosed with a brain tumor.<\/span><\/p>\n

At his place of residence, Vanya underwent surgery to remove the tumor. After that, his parents moved to Solnechnogorsk (Moscow Region) and continued their son's treatment. In Moscow, Vanya underwent a course of radiation therapy. It was successful, but with great complications: the parts of the brain responsible for coordinating movements and swallowing were damaged. Vanya could not eat or sit up on his own.<\/span><\/p>\n

Many years have passed since then. The boy has undergone many different rehabilitations. The most effective were the courses at the Guttmann Clinic (Spain). Thanks to them, Vanya was able to partially recover and from a recumbent position to learn to stand and even walk again, albeit with support.<\/span><\/p>\n

Vanya needed another course of rehabilitation to maximize his recovery. Thanks to you, we raised the necessary funds for the boy's treatment.<\/span><\/p>\n

On May 29, 2025, Vanya completed a three-month rehabilitation course at the Guttmann Clinic in Spain. During the course, the boy's muscular strength improved significantly, and new motor skills appeared, which were previously difficult to achieve.<\/span><\/p>\n

He has become more confident in his movements, is more active in exploring the world around him and enjoys applying the skills he has learned in everyday life.<\/span><\/p>\n

Vanya has also been successful in developing attention and thinking - he now copes faster with logical exercises.<\/span><\/p>\n
