Friends, we have some long-awaited news from Dima Butov.
Thanks to your kind hearts, the boy was placed in the hands of a highly qualified cranioplasty specialist - Dr. Firon at Craniofacial Center. Yesterday the doctor performed a very complicated neurosurgical operation, during which the front part of Dima's skull was enlarged. The surgery was a success!<\/p>\n
Before the operation, the boy's growing brain lacked space, there was a high risk of serious neurological disorders, deterioration of vision and hearing. But a miracle happened in Dima's life, the authors of which were YOU: the guests and participants of our charity Christmas Mystery, its organizers - Miss Air, the general sponsor - Wise Wolves Group, and, of course, Alexander Kokorin and Aris soccer club, who helped us to close most of the fundraising for Dima's treatment.<\/p>\n
Now there is enough space in the boy's head for the full development of his brain and optic nerves. We thank each of you for giving Dima a chance for a happy childhood.<\/p>\n
