Friends, we start the New Year with good news: Alisa Batchenko's surgery was successful.<\/p>\n

On December 30, at the Assuta Clinic in Israel, Professor Shimon Rohkind performed an operation on Alice. It was complex and lasted about 8 hours. The doctors removed a lot of abnormal tissue preventing the normal flow of cerebrospinal fluid and are very pleased with the result.<\/p>\n

Prof. Rohkind said Alice now has a \u00abnew back,\u00bb and if the surgery had to be delayed even six months, the girl would have no chance of avoiding a wheelchair.<\/p>\n

Alice is gradually recovering from the surgery and is still in the supine position. We believe that our purple elephant will become a small support and encouragement for her on this path.<\/p>\n
