Friends, thanks to your caring hearts, our ward Vera Vasilieva was able to undergo a rehabilitation course at the Olinek Intensive Care Center, and now her life has made long-awaited changes for the better: the girl is speaking better, walking more confidently and standing with support for longer!
Her mom shared Verochka's news with us: «After the forced break in classes, we were a little worried about how Verochka would cope. But the course went great! The main focus was on stabilization and improvement of existing skills, as well as walking in a walker and improving coordination. Already after the second week of classes we noticed improvements in sitting balance and hand coordination. Vera was so engaged in the course work that we even saw improvements in her speech, mood and behavior! When she arrived home, she was standing with support for much longer, her back was straighter when sitting, and her steps were more confident!
