Friends, we have amazing news for you: after almost 3 months in Israel, Ksenia Kovtun and her mom finally flew home! It was not an easy time for their family. They arrived in Israel on August 11, after which they were quarantined for 2 weeks. Next, they underwent a pre-operative examination, and the scheduled surgery for Xenia was performed on September 16. Unfortunately, after the surgery, necrosis formed at the site of the suture and the doctors decided to perform a second surgery. Our foundation has made a full commitment to pay for this surgery. On October 18, the surgery was performed and Xenia and her mother went home afterwards. Since November 10 they have been at home with their relatives and friends in Ukraine (Nikolaevka, Donetsk region). They are doing well now. We sincerely hope the next one is even better!
