Elena
Petmanson
Lena was born on September 21, 2010. The parents could not even guess that something was wrong with their child... However, already in the delivery room they discovered a hernia on her spine. Later in the hospital the diagnosis was confirmed - spina bifida. At 4 months old, the girl underwent surgery in St. Petersburg, after which there were complications - pelvic organ dysfunction. Despite this, the girl learned to walk independently. But at 2.5 years old, she was given a new diagnosis - fixed spinal cord syndrome: as the child grows, the spinal cord will be stretched, and eventually the child may stop walking.
Unfortunately, the girl tired quickly when walking, complained of pain in her legs, and slouched a lot - all of which indicated deterioration. Thanks to your support in 2018 we managed to raise 51,493 $ for treatment at Assuta Medical Center in Israel. The surgery was a success!

We would like to express our sincere gratitude for your help. Thanks to you we were able to go to such an important operation in the life of our daughter. Our family will not get tired of saying to you a huge human thank you. May your kindness return to you many more times. We will never forget what you did for our little girl. God bless you and your family with good health.
