In 2019, when the Ivanov family applied to the Foundation, Ilya was 12 years old. He was an excellent student, practiced at the music school in the piano class and took part in city competitions, where he told very long, beautiful poems. But the boy moved with the help of a wheelchair, because he could not walk. Because of this, he was home-schooled.

Ilya has fixed spinal cord syndrome. Since birth, the boy has had problems with his urinary system. He is tormented by constant infections with high fever - the older the child gets, the more often they occur. Constant illnesses, new courses of treatment, taking antibiotics - it is a vicious circle, within which the boy could not grow, develop and study normally.

In order to find the right treatment, Ilya needed to be examined in Israel. Thanks to your support we managed to raise 5,046 $ for the examination!

I would like to thank the Foundation for helping us and allowing us to examine our child in Israel! All the doctors are very easy to get in touch with, and we can ask them any question we have about Ilya's health.

Now we understand even more how to live with our disease. We had a very high hope that the doctor would take on the operation - and he did not refuse. This is a chance, and we would like not to miss it! We hope with all our souls that this operation will make our child's life much easier!
