Vanya is a real fighter. He was born at 28 weeks of pregnancy by emergency caesarean section and spent the first months of his life in hospital. He had several complicated surgeries, blood transfusions and immunoglobulin drips. To help the boy, doctors installed a shunt to drain excess cerebrospinal fluid from the brain - the whole system had to be changed and adjusted.

Despite all this, Vanya is a very positive little boy! He understands everything, speaks in sentences and loves to play with his older brother. But, unfortunately, when his parents contacted the Foundation, he could not walk yet - he could only crawl on all fours and stand on a support.

Vanya's parents did not give up and constantly practiced with the boy - with specialists and on their own. These lessons brought good results: Vanya even tried to walk with support.

In order to consolidate his successes and make a new step forward, the boy needed to undergo a rehabilitation course at the Olinek Intensive Care Center. This was made possible thanks to your support. Together we raised 3560 €. After the course, Vanyusha learned to walk independently.
