Maftuna found out about her illness quite by accident. The girl fell on the ice while skating and was hospitalized with a concussion. Thanks to your support, we managed to raise the necessary amount of money for the girl to be examined in Israel.
The injury from the fall was not serious, but an examination revealed that a tumor was present in the child's brain.
The Foundation once again came to the rescue. In September 2019, Maftuna returned from Israel, where she was examined at Sourasky Medical Center (Ikhilov). The doctors diagnosed that the brain tumor was benign.
