In November 2015, Makar took part in a judo competition and as a result of an accident suffered a severe head injury. The consequences of the injury manifested themselves only a few days later, when the boy suddenly became ill. The child was hospitalized with a severe headache, and an examination revealed that the injury had caused an arterial aneurysm in the brain vessels.

After the first surgery to insert five microspirals into the artery, the child's life remained at risk because there was still a high risk of aneurysm rupture. Further growth and rupture of the aneurysm could only be prevented by repeated surgical intervention.

On March 6, 2017, surgeons at a clinic in Tel Aviv performed a complex operation to implant a special stent into a cerebral artery using technology that has no analogues in Russia. According to doctors' estimates, the operation was successful.

Only thanks to your help we managed to collect $43,737 for the boy's treatment in Israel. Makar's surgery was successful! One year after the operation Makar felt well. However, the diagnosis of «multiple cerebral artery aneurysms» cannot simply be defeated and never remember what happened.

The patient needed timely prophylaxis so that no dangerous symptom would go unnoticed. Thanks to your support it was possible to collect $5 180 to undergo all necessary postoperative examinations.
