Olya and Sonya were born three months premature and spent the first 87 days of their lives in intensive care. Despite their extremely serious condition and contrary to statistics, the girls survived thanks to the efforts of experienced doctors, including timely neurosurgery. Now, after winning the fight for their children's lives, Oli and Sonia's parents are fighting for their health. Premature birth and hemorrhage caused serious disturbances in the newborns' brain function.

According to experts, the girls had great potential for recovery and development. The doctors agreed that even in such severe cases as Oli and Sonia's, well-targeted treatment would yield good results if time was not wasted and all available options were utilized.

Thanks to your support, the girls have already had several rehabilitation courses in Cyprus at the International Medical Rehabilitation Clinic ICMR (Cyprus) Ltd using the method of Professor Vladimir Ilyich Kozyavkin, recognized as one of the most effective in the rehabilitation of cerebral palsy (autumn 2017, spring and autumn 2018). The course helped the girls a lot, literally «tuned» them to a new wave of development.

The girls were making great progress: Sonya was walking, practically catching up with her peers, Olya was standing on a support, standing up on her own with a support, sitting and growing right before our eyes. The main thing was not to miss the moment, while the girls' development could be positively changed. The sisters needed a new course of rehabilitation treatment to continue their road to recovery. Thanks to your support we were able to raise the necessary amount to pay for the girls' treatment in May 2019.

In March, Olya could not take a single step on the track, but this time she walked 10 steps, 28 meters! Despite the fatigue! Sonya learned to stand straight, the spasticity in her arm changed.

Thank you so much! Thank you for your kind hearts, thank you for not giving up!

Our children can do even more now! Olga sits up by herself from any position, eats, drinks, reacts faster, answers questions, shows and says what she wants by herself. Sonia is talking with separate words, new phrases have appeared, she is now jumping on both feet at the same time!
