More than anything, she dreamed of having a full smile. But because of her congenital Mobius syndrome (facial nerve palsy), Sofia could only smile on the right side of her face.

This little girl's fragile shoulders are already full of victories! At birth, Sofia had many diagnoses: tracheostomy, hip dislocation, brain swelling, tracheal stenosis and seizure syndrome.

Doctors' predictions for Sonia's future were quite disappointing: they said that she would not be able to eat, drink or breathe on her own, that she would not be able to speak, smile or move fully. But, fortunately, everything turned out differently. Faith and persistence of parents destroyed almost all the obstacles. Now Sonya goes to school and develops like a normal child.

In July 2022, doctors at the Ikhilov Clinic performed the most complicated nerve reconstruction surgery on Sofia.
