Victoria
Arslanova
Vika knows how to show care: the girl not only helps her mother, but also takes on the role of a mother herself, playing with children younger than herself. She knows how to support and calm down. Most of all Vika likes to play puppet shows with different characters, from small animal figures to large plush toys. She turns each puppet show into a real fairy tale, which is always very interesting to watch.
Unfortunately, more mobile games, such as riding down a slide, scooter, bicycle, are given to Vika with great difficulty because of her illness. At the age of two years and three months, the child was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Despite the complex nature of the disease, cerebral palsy can be corrected with the right rehabilitation procedures.
Thanks to your support, the girl has already undergone several courses of rehabilitation treatment in the clinic of Professor Vladimir Ilyich Kozyavkin in Cyprus (in the fall of 2017, spring and fall of 2018). The treatment has borne fruit: Vika started to walk more, talk better, do gymnastics and actively participate in games with other children.
In order to consolidate the best results, Vika needed a second course of treatment in the fall of 2019. Thanks to your support we managed to raise 3,600 € to pay for the treatment.
Parents' appreciation
Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to continue our treatment.
We are proud of our success! The most important thing is that we have learned to stay on the water, balancing practically without moving while lying on our backs. We are no longer afraid of salty sea water, we are diving with a snorkel. Gait has become more confident, the shortening of the right leg is almost imperceptible. We started to use the right hand more, to involve it in the main activity. There are a lot of nuances, it is impossible to list them all at once.
Thank you so much. We hope that you will continue to be our good companions who give us hope for a fun childhood and future life!
