Julia
Verentsova
Yule lives in Krasnodar. When she was 1 year old, doctors diagnosed her with cerebral palsy. Since then, not a day has passed without the girl fighting for her healthy future. She has undergone many therapy courses in Russia, Czech Republic and Poland. We helped her to get to one of them together with you 4 years ago.
In 2020, Yulia underwent the most complicated SDR surgery with Dr. Park at Children's Hospital Saint Louis (USA). Dr. Dobbs also performed an Achilles tendon surgery on the girl. After the treatment, Yulia's leg spasticity was significantly reduced.
During the period of active growth, the tone in the muscles started to increase again and strongly affected the correct position of the foot and the hip joints. The girl needed surgery to lengthen and relax the adductor muscles of the legs using the PERCS method at the Paley European Institute (Warsaw, Poland). The treatment helped to reduce spasticity and facilitate the girl's movements, and thanks to a unique approach without the use of plaster, Julia was able to stand on her feet on the third day after the operation and started intensive physical therapy.
Yulia is fully intellectually intact. Her only learning problem is her inability to write independently. She is typing. To move around, Yulia uses a walker, in which she can cover a distance of up to 3 kilometers. She loves cycling and dreams of becoming a circus director.
On February 13, 2025 Julie's surgery was successful in Paley European Institute (Warsaw, Poland). She has successfully completed her post-operative rehabilitation and has already achieved considerable results!
Thank you to the company TrafficStars , that she gave Yulia a Christmas miracle and completely closed her collection.
We wish Yula new successes, achievements and only forward - to a happy childhood!
