Feb. 13 Ayaulim underwent surgical treatment at the Assuta Clinic in Israel. The operation was a difficult one. Prof. Shimon Rohkind freed the spinal canal and roots from fixation and pathological tissue. Already during the operation, the signals from the legs improved significantly, and this is a very good sign. Aiaulym has a great potential that in the future she will not only be able to walk, but even run.
But for this prognosis to come true, another orthopedic surgery on the feet and ankles is urgently needed. Ayaulym has preserved movement in her legs, has sensitivity, and her muscles work, albeit weakly. They must be developed, but it will be impossible to do it without surgery.
