Abdullah
Amanaliev
Baby Abdullah's parents and older brother were eagerly awaiting his birth. The mother's pregnancy went smoothly and the boy was to be born healthy. But immediately after the birth, instead of his mother's warm embrace, Abdullah was taken to the intensive care unit. A few days later, doctors informed the parents of the diagnosis - spina bifida.
The fear was enormous, but the family did not let it win. They searched for doctors, gathered information, consulted with specialists in different countries. It became clear that without surgical intervention, Abdullah could eventually face serious health deterioration: impaired motor functions, bladder and bowel problems, which could lead to disability in the future.
The parents found salvation in the person of Prof. Shimon Rohkind from the Assuta Clinic (Israel). An online consultation with him confirmed that surgery was needed in the near future to prevent the severe consequences of spina bifida.
Happy childhood
Abdullah is not yet aware of his diagnosis. He is actively exploring the world: he can stand holding on to a wall or table, plays with his brother, loves toys and crawls quickly.
«Abdullah is a very bright, active, emotional little boy. He loves to play, reacts to emotions, reaches for new movements,» says the child's mother.
Timely surgery will give your baby a chance to avoid deterioration of his health. But the cost of treatment is completely prohibitive for the family. They live in the village of Aravan (Kyrgyzstan). Dad works as a cab driver and mom takes care of two children. They barely have enough money for the necessities.
Each of your donations is a brick in the foundation of the boy's future life, where he will be able to take his first independent steps and enjoy a carefree childhood.
