Multifocal venous malformation of the right side of the body
Age: 10 years old

Perhaps you have met people on the street with pronounced blood vessels on the legs (varicose veins). Or one of your relatives had such a disease. Sometimes with this disease, flights are forbidden, you often need to wear tight compression underwear and systemically take medication. It's uncomfortable, it causes pain, and it's often unpleasant to look at: the veins are severely swollen and have a blue, almost black color. But they live with it.

Now look at this beautiful 10 year old girl with wheat hair and big azure eyes. She does choreography, tries to go to the pool every day, attends English and vocal lessons. From the outside, she is a perfectly normal, healthy child, but with one caveat.

A girl with the ancient oriental name Adilya has a very rare and severe form of venous disease - extensive venous angiodysplasia of the body. At birth, the right half of her body was blue from swollen veins. It was the first time doctors in her native Kazan had ever seen such a thing!

Unfortunately, the doctors were unable to correctly diagnose the condition at the time. Later in Moscow, they corrected it, but offered to maintain the condition medically, and it worked. But at the age of two, blood clots began to appear systemically. First on his back, then on his neck. And if you think a blood clot is something inside a vessel, invisible to the eye, you're wrong. A two-year-old child had a mass the size of a hen's egg overnight!

At almost 11 years old, Adilya has already undergone five surgeries. Swimming and choreography are essential activities to relieve vein stress and help the blood circulate better.

It is very difficult for her to put on pants or tights by herself and she constantly experiences insurmountable pain in her right knee. She has to wear special shoes to hide the difference in leg length due to the disease

Being naturally beautiful, Adilya does not believe in her beauty for obvious reasons: pain, swelling, veins swollen and darkened under the skin

Extensive venous angiodysplasia of the whole or half of the body is an extremely rare and still poorly understood disease. In addition, Russia lacks sufficient equipment, so Adili's family approached a German specialist who was interested in the girl's case back in 2019. In 2023 and 2024, he performed surgeries that improved Adili's condition for a while, but over the past year, the disease began to progress. The veins became inflamed more frequently and more extensively, infecting the area around the brain and causing even more pain throughout the body

Adili's mother is divorced and, in addition to her daughter, is raising a 16-year-old son. The family's only source of income is a pension to care for a disabled child. The family has no money for medicines and even more so for the surgery necessary for their daughter's life. They really need your help and support!

Adili's new, sixth surgery is scheduled with Dr. Walter Wohlgemuth at the University Hospital of Halle on the June 15, 2026.
