Muhammadayub was born with a severe congenital condition — spina bifida. At just three months old, he underwent his first neurosurgery on the spinal cord in Tashkent. Unfortunately, the operation was unsuccessful: one of his legs began to shorten, and he lost control over urination and bowel movements.

His parents did the impossible — they sold their apartment, their car, and gave up all their savings so their son could receive treatment from Professor Shimon Rochkind, one of the world’s leading specialists in spina bifida. In March 2023, the surgery was successful. A year and a half later, Muhammadayub began to walk. It was a true miracle.

But the disease hasn’t retreated. Because of the paralytic dislocation in his hip, his condition has begun to worsen rapidly. Dr. Naum Simanovsky, a leading Israeli pediatric orthopedic surgeon, is ready to help and save the boy from a future of disability.

However, the cost of the surgery — €34,460 — is far beyond what the family can afford. They’ve already sacrificed everything they had.
