Vanya is a long-awaited child in a loving family. His mother’s pregnancy was difficult, so when she finally heard the words “Your baby is healthy,” it became the happiest moment of her life. However, within the first few months, worries began to grow — Vanya didn’t react to sounds, had trouble seeing, and wasn’t babbling. His development wasn’t following the path of a healthy child.

After two years of medical examinations, doctors diagnosed him with Stickler syndrome — a rare genetic condition that affects hearing, vision, and the musculoskeletal system. Over his 10 years of life, Vanya has faced many complications, but despite the challenges, he has a bright mind and a rare gift: absolute pitch.

In 2024, Vanya was accepted into the Gnessin Music School. He loves playing the piano and takes part in school concerts. His teachers say music is truly his calling.

To prevent the condition from progressing, Vanya needs regular rehabilitation courses. He responds especially well to treatment at Evexia Centre (Greece), where his gait improves, nervous tics decrease, and his muscles grow stronger.

Sure! Here's the natural, fluent English translation, as a native speaker might phrase it:

Thanks to your kind hearts, we were able to raise the full amount needed.
Ivan's rehabilitation course will begin on July 29 and continue through August 29.
We’ll be sure to share updates with you as soon as we have them.
